Maintenance of Python Skin 蟒皮的养护

 

After playing erhu, use a clean small handkerchief to wipe off the rosin on the skin and body of the Erhu.

Lift the strings with a small wooden stick slightly higher than the harpsichord so that the erhu bridge is not pressed on the skin or loosen the erhu strings a little

Not to move the position of the bridge, because if you move the bridge, the vibration point will be different each time, thus affecting the sound of the erhu.

​在拉完二胡后，用干净的小手帕将琴皮和琴身上的松香擦拭干净，然后用一根略高于琴码的小木棍（或者护琴码）把琴弦抬起来，使琴码不压在琴皮上，这样可以避免上下移动琴码而擦坏琴皮。或者把二胡弦稍微松一下，注意琴码的位置不要移动，因为如果移动琴码，会造成每次的震动点不一样，因而影响二胡的音色。
